Fantastic! Thank you so much for that. I don't know much more about Laurent other than he and his brother were shipowners. I do know that Leonard Jehan was the Captain of the "Lord North" which was in Annapolis in 1774, and Captain of the "Swallow" during 1780, which he operated as a Privateer, having received Letters of Marque from the King. Do you have any other pictures of the family - my branch comes down through Stephen Pique/Ann Vaudin - Charlotte Pique/John Welch (the 7th Police Officer in St. Helier) - Charlotte Welch/William Palmer - Henrietta Palmer (my grandmother). Scan attached of Leonard Jehan's ship in Annapolis.
