In the WWI records, George is in Ohio and still lists Emma as his wife. The date is about 1917. In 1920, there is a George Farrington listed in the Oneida, NY census, age 34.

He is listed as born in Indiana, his parents born in North Carolina, and a mill-wright. This is the same as George in Ohio in 1910.

Except, a woman named Margaret is listed as being married to him. She is from Scotland and arrived in 1919. So she could only have married him within a short time of arrival to be listed in the 1920 census...at most, a year and a half. You might want to check Ohio records for divorce papers...unless he was a bigamist. But there is probably a marriage record for him...maybe in NY.

Wish I could offer more, but maybe this will help.
