I found records stating both were born in Geneva, Argenteiul, Quebec. Him in Aug 1803, her in Oct 1802. Family lore has it that he was French Canadian, the family had came over from France to fur trade and such. She is supposedly from the Hurun tribe of Native Americans, full blooded, but obviously we don't know her "real" real name, since it says Mary Jane on there. Does anyone know what records in canada I could possibly look at to try to find them? It says that their children were all born in Canada, so it seems like there should be some kind of marriage record, but I can't seem to find it. Thank you so much for any help! I really appreciate it.
