I'm wondering if someone can shed any light on this couple. Both PRDH and Fichier Origine identify them as immigrants. Pierre arrived by 1646, then went back to France and married Catherine, returning to Quebec with her. They had 2 children born in Quebec city in 1647 and 1650. But the puzzle is that they then had a daughter, Marie Anne Charlotte, who was born in France before 1652! By 1657, they are back in Quebec where 2 more children are born. I'd appreciate any info on these circumstances.
