I am searching for a mystery second marriage of my great-grandfather. I think he may have gone back to Canada in 1910 or so after my great-grandmother died, and remarried. There's nothing on this in Drouin, so I'm wondered if he could have had a civil ceremony with no clergy, and if so where would I look for it? I'm in the U.S. and I am not sure how this would have been done in Canada during that period. Thanks for any help you can provide.
