MCLEAN of Argenteuil - looking for...

I am a descendant of a John McLean b. bet 1790 and 1805 in Scotland who married a Marjorie Cameron abt 1805 in QC. They had an extensive family - (see my other query)
I am trying to figure out if there are other McLean/MacLeans in Argenteuil that he might be related to...
John lived in the Cote du Midi, River Rouge, St. Andrews E. areas. Any help would be appreciated. According to Scottish naming practices, his father was probably a Duncan or Gillian...but that is an in exact science.
I am also looking for marriages and baptisms for this family...(please see my other previous query). I live in Ontario, and the records are difficult to come by... there is a site on the internet, but it is too confusing (no locations - and each lookup costs). Thanks for the help.
