My gg grandparents were William Fox and Christian "Kate" McPhail. The only info I have is that he was born in England ab 1812 and d in Grenville, QC Aug 9 1899. For my gg grandmother, I have that she was born about 1820 in Scotland and died before 1881. They had 9 children, Thomas, Sarah Ann, Mary, William, Donald, Martha, John "Jack", Christiana and Elizabeth. I am looking for any information regarding when they arrived in Canada and if possible, exactly where they came from. Their son Thomas was born in 1840 in Quebec so they had to be here by then.

I realize it's a stretch asking for this kind of info but all one can do is ask.
