Surnames: Meade Laight Pilon
I am trying to learn about my grand mother's life.
She was born Adelaide or Adelac(Addie) Laight on 1 June 1887 in the USA - probably NY or Michigan.
She was placed in a NY orphanage at the age of 3.
She was taken in by her aunt and her husband sometime after that and adopted by them. Her Name then became Adelaide Meade.
Eventually she married Timothy Pilon and Moved to Quebec Canada.
If anyone knows who her birth parents were please let me know. I seem to have hit a dead end and any hints would be appreciated.
