I have just started to do my ancestry and just saw your name asking for McMartin and McEwen.
My Great Grandfather was Donald McEwen who was born in St Andrews, Argentieul in 1821. He married Elizabeth McMartin In Argenteuil in 1891. Donald took over the family farm on River Rouge. If this is who you are looking for I have quite a bit of information on the McEwens and am willing to share anything I have. Joyce
