I am looking for information as to why Andre Berza, who married Francoise Pilois would have left Auriat, Province of Limousin, France. Andre and Francoise were married on December 2, 1669 in Montreal, Quebec Province, Canada.

Andre's father, Etienne Berza was born in Daceriat, France and died bef. Dec. 2, 1669. Are there any good sites in English that could retrieve info for this era?

I am also trying to find out if Andre Berza, Jr married and who his children might be if applicable. Andre, Jr. was born about 1670 in Longueuil, Quebec Province, Canada.

What did these people do for a living? Were they trappers and farmers? Any stories?
