Charles Dunn and Rebecca Lagge were in Riviere du Loup, Maskinonge 1783. I am looking for any information as to the history of that area from 1774 to 1790. The other families that are in the area at that time are Armstrong, Remington. McCraw. These families and several others after 1811 would leave that area and settle in Berthier. They would be the founders of Lake Maskinonge Settlement in Brandon Berthier and would call themselves Loyalists. They are all of the Anglican faith. Anyone out there searching for English speaking people in Three Rivers prior, during and a after the Revolutionary War?? I have lots of Anglican records to share.
