I'm researching the Daignault & Livernois familes of the Chateauguay county area of Canada. They later settled in the Churubusco (Clinton county) area of New York state. I believe the Livernois family came from the area of St. Remi and changed their names to Miller when they moved to the U.S., they later settled in the Canastota,Madison county area.
I'm particularly interested in Napoleon Daignault (b.1896 d.1974) who was the son of Paul Daignault and Celeste Tavernier. Napoleon married Alexandria Mary Miller (b.1897 d.1967)the daughter of Louis Peter (dit. Livernois) Miller and Mary Rose Delima Varin. I have a great deal of information on the descendants of this couple (my grandparents) but almost nothing about their ancestors. Thank
