My husband descends from Andrew Fortune, son of John Fortune & Janet Leitch. Andrew and his wife, Esther Shaw Carr, had 7 children, including Anna Shaw Fortune. Anna married Franklin Ames Sharpe, Sr., and they were my husband's great-grandparents.
