Just found your post..... at bit late .....Janet Elders was my great great grandmother. Her son Peter Elders Caldwell was my great grandfater. His daughter Mary Towns Caldwell Bennett was my grandmother. You are the first person that I have ever seen inqured about this family.

Do not know much about the Caldwells esp. those in Canada.
