My Great Grandfather was Peter Elder Caldwell. He married Mary Townsend Wells and they had seven children. Their daughter Mary Myers Caldwell was my Grandmother. She married James Charles Bennett and they had two sons. Charles H. Bennett and Caldwell Tucker Bennett. I am the youngest of three girls by Caldwell T. Bennett and Pauline Parker Gay.
I would love to know more about your Great grandfather. Was his name William George? There was a William and a George.
