Hi everybody, here is a little lesson in French. In the old days, French people would often pronounce the letter "T" as a "K" that is why you see the names Lamitie changed to Lamikie or Pelletier turned into Pelkey, and Berthiaume pronounced Bercum. So when you are looking for a French name spelled with a "K" or "C" it would be good to keep that in mind when searching for the original name and try to replace the "C" or "K" with a "T".
