I found this quote in "Histoire de Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington (1848 – 1998)", by Denis Gravel:

"Thus, on the 5th of August 1912, the municipal council headed by the mayor Wilfrid Lussier accepted the request made by Georges Beaudin and Joseph Tourangeau to close on Sept. 30 1912 the Williamstown road, an old road that had been in use since 1869."

This explains why the maps for Napierville from 1917 do not show "Rang Williamstown".

Another researcher pointed out this quote from “Rapport de la Commission de Refonte Des Statuts Généraux de la Province de Québec” to me:

So it appears that there was a section of St. Patrice de Sherrington known as “Rang Williamstown” prior to 1912. However, I am still unable to determine its precise location in St. Patrice de Sherrington, since I can’t find any maps from the era which show the lots mentioned above.

Any suggestions or help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
