Hi Jason, Most Dixon in Quebec in the period 1901-1911 were in Montreal, and on the St Regis Reserve (Mohawk). Dixon was more common surname in Ontario than in Quebec, your ancestor could have come in from Ontario, say with the Hudson Bay Company. Try to survey what you can find out locally, ask the elders. You may be able to get the title of the church registers in the region and then do a search in the local records. Start with yourself, record each generation, paying attention to date and place of birth foremost, add all the names and dates you can. Each generation is about 20-to-25+ years apart.
