Bless you for sharing this helpful information. Mary Ann Crawford was my great-greatgrandmother. I heard from another source that her family was from Northern Ireland but that's all I know. I think she was born between 1821 -1823 in Ireland. I assume she was married to Joseph Valliant in the Anglican Church because they are listed in the census as being members of the C of E. though the children were mostly married in the Presbyterian church. My father was Borden Valliant, born in Beachburg, my grandfather was William Valliant born in Bryson) great grandfather was Mary Ann's son John Valliant, Litchfield). Mary Ann and her husband Joseph Valliant according to the census lived in the Upper Litchfield area...near Bryson or Shawville?
I don't know where they are buried or exactly where they lived. I looked around some graveyards in the Campbell's Bay area and didn't find anything.
Any other information about the Crawfords or the Valliants would be gratefully received. This is the only part of my ancestry that has been a total roadblock! Can't seem to go further back from either Mary Ann Crawford and Joseph thank you once again for this possible break through or at least info. addition.
