Franco-American is a term used for persons living in the US who are of French-Canadian (Québec) extraction. Other terms were: Frenchie, Caunuck, Frog. The Franco-American term is widely used, at least in New England. Check out the 1673 or so pics I have on our Webshots site. You'll see many Franco-americans there as well as some of their religious & educational institutions.
