For anyone looking for information on immigrants from the Ukraine/
Austro-Hungaria/or Poland , check the Ellis Island website in New York (www.ellisislandrecords.org). Many travelled the Trieste - New York route, then transferred ships to come to Canada. The ship's register would be transcribed in New York , noting alien immigrants
continuing to another port.

A search on my Chaykowski/Czajkowski name brought up a number of immigrants from the Bobulince & Ossowice area of then
Austria , all with a destination of Quill Lakes.

Oct. 1910 names include:Kanak, Wasyl & family; Czajkowski, Sam(Semko) & fam.; Chorney(Czornyj),Wasyl ; Wasiak,K ;
Chorney(Czorny), Jan & family ; Nicholat(Nychotat), Petro & fam.

More in 1911, were Czaykowski, Jan & fam. ; Kolowska ; Lipka ;
Czachorowski.

These entries include info on relatives in the home country, place of birth, as well as relationships between many of the passengers,and names of friends or relatives in Canada.

If you have not been able to find Canadian Immigration info, something may show up in the American records.
