Hi, Have you obtained the Birth Registration?
The name of the father - may have been shown.if the mother gave that information, as well - perhaps where he was born.

You have posted to the Message Board for Moose Jaw - is this where the father was born?

Perhaps Posting to the Canada GenWeb - Message Board - would be helpful.
Your message will be seen on site - as well - will be Gatewayed to Canada GenWeb Mail list - which in turn will be Gatewayed to other Provincial Rootsweb Mail lists - giving you a much greater chance of success.

A tragic story - but one told many times over.
Cheers & Good Luck, Stella
