Hi,
I am finding this discussion especially interesting as your father, Stanley, would have been my great uncle. Stanley was my grandfather George's (who was wounded in WWII)brother. The confusion from some of the earlier posters stems from the fact that your mother's name is Betty while my grandfather George's wife, Mary, had a sister Betty who was formerly a Cathcart from Ballymena and had also moved to Moose Jaw (Tuxford) where the Rigdens resided.
I didn't realize that Stanley had a child in the UK although this isn't really surprising as I wasn't born until 1972. I am fascinated by my family's history and some day hope to visit the UK. Take care.
