Classification: Query
Vera Dixon (nee Ford) 2nd husband was Michael J. Clarke. He was with the RAF, #32 SFTS (Service Flying Training School). That unit was stationed in Moose Jaw from December 9, 1940 – October 17, 1944. His occupation was a carpenter as the training planes were largely made of wood.
Michael Clarke was from Dundee, Scotland.

The date of marriage between Vera Dixon (Ford) and Michael Clarke was April 17, 1944.( Her first husband a gunner sargeant Alfred Ross Dixon b. 25 Jun 1923) was killed in the war, shot down over Germany 03 Jul 1943.) The witness on the marriage certificate if listed as Alex Taylor, also from Scotland. The father Michael left Moose Jaw with his unit in October 1944.

I do see that Dundee cith has a new research service that may be worth looking at. They will access the service record and hopefully find the family in Dundee.

If anyone has any additional details please respond.
