Hi. I wonder if SKS could help me with the following. I have been trying to find the family of James and Elizabeth Sheppard (Shepard, Shepperd) in the 1906 census of Saskatchewan. I believe they were living in Biggar at the time. An obituary of a relative places them there a few years later. I have tried searching the AFHS 1906 database but it doesn't find the family or Biggar or Saskatoon district. I then tried the National Archives and using a simple search of Saskatchewan and keyword Biggar finds nothing. I then tried to confirm the county/district it was in by searching the web for Saskatchewan counties and districts. I must say that looking for anything in Saskatchewan is very difficult. My first question is, is the correct county/district Saskatoon? If not, what is it? Then, what is the easiest way to search the 1906 census to find something reliably? Are there LDS films for the 1906 census and if so is there a list of the films by county? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
