I only now my grandmother ESPERANSA MONTES was borm around july 7 1918. Supposedly in hidalgo de parral. Sometimes she would say she was pancho villas grand daughter. We were told her mothers name was MARIA MONTES and either her father or grandfathers name was Jesus MONTES and was a ver well known (comerciante) in PARRAL. Mygrandmother also had a brother and sister by the name of CATALINA OR CATORINA said t habe married a RODRIGO RODRIGUEZ from another state and moved to that state with her husband. HeR brothers name was ARNULFO MONTES and was said to still live in Parral in the 1970's. Her mother did not marry her fathe that we know.

My grandmother than married my grandfather Manuel Carrasco Rojas from Valle de Allende. MANUEL was the onlly son of Miguel Carrasco and Jesusita who passed away during childbirth. MANUEL is related to A MR. SOTO whose name is on a memorial stone at a small plaza for LOS HEROES DE TALAMANTE. My grandparents had 3 children. My mother Maria de Jesus Carrasco-Rojas.(11-13-1940-1942) Ruben Carrasco-Rojas July 1942-1946?. and Eunice Carrasco-Rojas. Born between 1943-1948.
My grand father was borm around 1916-1919. My grandfather still has family inValle de Allende by the last name of Payan, Soto, Carrasco and Rojas.
Maria De Jesus and Ruben have the same godmother in VALLE DE ALLENDE her Name may be REYNALDA MONTES she was a school teacher
There in Valle de Allende. Her son had the only pharmacy that I know of in the 1970's across from the PLAZA in town. REYNALDA the school teacher also has a granddaughter by the name of Alma Rosa Perez-Montez who works at the college in Chihuahua Chihuahua.
My grandmother left Mexico Around 1948. She may have gone back a few times when my aunt Eunice was a small child. She had a falling out with her family and would never speak of them. This isthe only information I have.
