Hi I can tell you where Galeana Michoacán is. My parents are from there and I have family there! Galeana, Michoacán de Ocampo, México is located in the northern part of the state of Michoacán, bordering the state of Guanajuato. Galeana is in the municipality of Puruándiro, and is no more than 15-20 mins away from the larger town of Puruándiro, which is the cabecera municipal (equivalent to country seat in the US) of that same municipality. I was born in the town of Puruándiro.

Galeana is a very small town of maybe 2,000 or 3,000 inhabitants and is about 2 hours away from Morelia, the capital city of the state of Michoacán.

Iglesia Catholica should be in the Plaza of Galeana. It is not a very big town, and you can ask the people there, they are very friendly and open to strangers and helping them out.
