I'm trying to find my family roots in Sonora. Presently I have about 1,600 names ( it's a big family ). On my father's side his father was Jesus Sortillon Ortega, his parents were Jesus David Ortega and Maria Carmen Presiado Sortillon. My father's mother was Angelina Cuen Dominguez, and her parents were Francisco Dominguez and Arcadia Cuen. This family settled in Santa Cruz and I heard they came from Magdalena,Guaymas, and Caborca. On my mother's side her father was Carlos Leon Baldenegro, his parents were Eduardo Baldenegro and Procopia Garcia Leon. my mother's mother was Maria Gallego Estrada and her parents were Estevan Estrada and Josefina Gallego. The Leon come from Fronteras and Baldenegro from ?? The Estrada Gallego from Imuris and Magdalena. All this was prior to 1906.
