Read your post, I also looking for information with the name Nunez, which was my g-greatfather by the name of Bernardino Nunez, married Carmen Sazueta from Pitiquit in 1889.

The roads that I can follow were Hermosillo,Sonoyta then on to Arivaca Arizona, some of my g-greatfather children lived in Acivaca, Tucson,and Yuma.

The name of my g-greatfather's children are as follow:
Manuel S Nunez
Luis Nunez
Bernardino Nunez, Jr
Cipriano Nunez
Auturo Nunez
Amelia Nunez
Juana Nunez
Margarita Nunez
Humberto Nunez

I do not know if these may be the same Nunez's.
