HI Marie - I have looked at the Ellis Island records and have all there is to be had from there. I have a sub with ancestry.com.au so have access to all the English records. The marriage of Alf and Amy was a hard one to find. Recently records from the New York Clipper became available online, that is where I found the marriage and I think the death article on Alf Reeves.
Ada Whittaker was mentioned in one thread, she was the sister of Amy Minister, she was also a "stage artiste" in England.
As yet, I haven't found anyone else researching this family, and so far I haven't managed to find any children for Alf and Amy. I am about to have a look at the 1910 census in Manhattan. Thank you for that information
