Some of the records I've seen for your Pangrazio line say that they were born in Italy, too. They could have been born in the Italian areas that Austria controlled.
This got a bit garbled in your message: "the Joseph Austria in 1864 and came to this countryI'm l00king for was born in 1885" -- so I think you meant he was born in 1864 and came over in 1885...?
The John Pangrazio in the 1910 census was born c. 1865 and immigrated c. 1883 -- so both of those fit, since census records are not exact.
If a marriage record could be found for this John Pangrazio and Mary Moscachetti, then maybe their parents' would be listed -- offering proof one way or another.
This is the only family I could find that seems to fit Joseph's family...It seems likely that it's them, and that "John" was mis-written for "Joseph." The person could have said "Joe" with an Italian accent, for example.
