I have a letter written by my GGG grandfather Samuel Carson Boyd. In this letter, he says that his son Robert was living in the States in 1841. Robert had a wife Anne and a son at that time. A lot of the family went to Michigan so he might be there but I don't really know. Some also in Ohio who then carried on to California.
If anyone can find him, it would be a miracle and much appreciated. Thank you. Mother was Mary Lawson.
