Here's an interesting, but somewhat confusing tidbit in the Suffolk County News, Sayville, Long Island newspaper, Oct. 26, 1967:
"On Sunday, Mrs. Alfred Garbarino and daughter, Thea, of Albert Street, visited Mrs. Garbarino's uncle, Harry Hodgins of Jamaica, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Jennie Garbarino of Patchogue."
This implies that Charles' daughter Jennie married a Mr. Garbarino, not a Gartarini as stated in Charles' obituary.
The surnames are a bit confusing -- perhaps two Garbarinos married each other? OR it should say "mother-in-law" not "mother"?
Note: Jamaica is most likely the town Jamaica, New York, not the island.
