I found Paul's manifest record arriving in New York on the Kroonland 01 Sept 1906 from Antwerp last residence was Steinbach stated he was 16 a tailor and was going to an aunt's home in St Louis named Barbara "Sischer" ? ? at 717 Conoll or Coroll ? Street. He had $20.00.
Handwriting was poor but it appears that Barbara "Fischer" was the aunt that he was living with in 1910 census. She was born abt 1853 Germany married twice of 16 years arrived around 1873 ? had no children. Mr. Fischer was born abt 1851 in Germany arrived 1888. Mr. Fischer's first name is not listed. Address was indeed 717 Carroll Street for the 1910 census.

I find that Barbara Fischer that died 26 Dec 1928 at 4744 Goethe in St Louis widowed born 27 Dec 1852 father listed as John Scherbel mother unknown. Charles Koerner at 3540 Illinois Ave informant. She was buried Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Charles/Carl F Koerner was born in Germany appx 1867 arrived in 1891 lived at 3540 Illinois Ave in 1920 wife Paulina also born Germany she died 1927 parents listed unknown buried same cemetery as Barbara. Charles died in 1933 buried same cemetery and dtr Anne Korn new nothing about his parents so it is unknown how Charles Koerner or his wife was acquinted with Barbara Fischer.
Barbara & Landoin Fischer have a single headstone shown on findagrave.com. Her parents are listed as John Scherbel 1842 - 1896 and Barbara Neubauer Scherbel Roesberg 1846 - 1937 spouse Landoin Fischer 1851 - 1918. Barbara Neubauer Scherbel Roesberg also buried Sts Peter & Paul. Peter Roesberg 1838 - 1901. Barbara's siblings Joseph V Scherbel 1877 - 1923,
Julian Scherbel Winter 1883 - 1964 wife of Herman Edward Winter 1878 - 1955 buried Oak Grove Cem in St Louis
However, the Barbara Scherbel that I find with parents in 1880 census was born about 1870, could be that Barbara Scherbel b. 1852 was sister to John Scherbel 1846 - 1896 and their father also named John Scherbel ? I do not find Emma Ferris/Farris buried at this cemetery.
