In Mass. we have the Mass Archives - records from 1841 to 1915. They are now getting records from 1915 to 1920. They also have an index of records from 1915-1970. You can research records yourself there - free. Then we have the Mass Vitals - records from 1920-present. They also have an index to present day. You can research records there yourself for $9 an hour. Does Connecticut have something like that? Sometimes directories will list when the person died? Ancestry will have some.

What about her parents? Could she be buried with them?
