Windham/Tolland County Connecticut Influenza Epidemic of 1918

Posted: 6 Jul 2012 9:26AM GMT
Classification: Death
Surnames: Beaumont, Squires
I am trying to locate where my maternal great grandmother, Alice M(Maude)Squires-Beaumont may be buried.

Alice was born in May of 1891, in Coventry, Tolland County Connecticut. Her parents were Frank & Fannie(Charlotte) Trask-Squires. Alice was married to Arthur Dunbar Beaumont, they had 5 children, Lewis, Leroy (a/k/a Buster, my grandfather), Loren, Grace and Ethel.

She passed away sometime between 1917 & 1920. We were told of TB, or consumption. Either way it is most likely she died of complications caused by this influenza.

I have contacted the Coventry, CT town hall and they have no record of her death and suggested we try another town or county as she may not have died in the town and or county in which she resided.

If anyone can be of assistance, I would truly appreciate it!
