Hi. I am a descendant of Timothy Ozier Duck. I have also been told the same thing by other descendant of him and so far no one has been able to prove with documentation that he is Creek. I have seen a listing on some Indian Rolls that list a Timothy Duck but I could not find a date that would document that it was him. I have also been told by a researcher in the Oklahoma Creek Nation that suggested that to find my Indian heritage, she would suggest my reasearching my Duck line in Baldwin Co. I have recently discovered in my research an individual in the Cherokee Nation by the name of George Washington Bankester that married a Creek woman in the Baldwin area. Their children married several Creek lines which include the Ducks, the Peacocks, the Silcoxs, the Boones and the Tarvins. Several years ago I was told that everyone in that area in the 17 and 1800s were related. The other thing was that it was better to say that your black than to say that you were indian. So for someone to marry into an Indian line you would have to be a certain amount of Indian yourself. I strongly feel that Timothy is full blooded, but all I have is my gut feeling and and what I have found. Ross
