Surnames: Berryhill, Posey, Islands
These families were listed in the 1832 census of Creeks as white or mixed blood heads of Indian families. They received 320 acres of land. This village was near present-day Fredonia, Chambers County Alabama.

Thlakalcha Cholockominne (Horse Path Town)
Coweta Indians
James Islands, Principal Chief (half-blood)

Thomas Berryhill - 1 male 2 females total 3
William Berryhill - 6 males 5 females total 11
Eli Berryhill - 2 males 1 female total 3
John Berryhill - 1 male 1 female total 2
Thomas W. Berryhill - 2 males 1 female total 3
Benj Posey - 4 males 4 females total 8

I would like to hear from any descendants of these families.

Some are sons or grandsons of John Berryhill-Elizabeth Derrisaw/Durouzeax, members of the Creek Nation that went to
Oklahoma with the Chilly McIntosh party. John died in 1833 in Ok and Elizabeth died in 1831.
