Surnames: Franklin, Dixon, Brooks, Jordan, Sellers, Benton
Searching for the parents of Mary FRANKLIN. She was born about 1836 in either SC or GA. She was suppose to be full-blooded Native American -- either Creek or Cherokee. She married John DIXON about 1850, do not know where. Mary and John both died in Charlton County, GA and are buried in the DIXON Family Cemetery outside of St. George, GA. Have been unable to find them in any 1850 census. In 1860 they were living in New River County, FL. In the 1870 Census they were living in Fernandina, Nassau County, FL. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
