I just read your message regarding info on SC plantations. I'm also looking for information. Surely, there must be something on the Internet! I checked into the webspace that Alene told about, but I could not find anything on Plantations, even though it was titled Plantations Colonies,unless I overlooked something. ANyway I'm looking for plantations in the Estill, Tillman area of SC. One of the plantations was named "MEXICO" which was located I believe just north of Estill, or Lawtonville. The other is "PECAN HILL PLANTATION". (It's believed that my greatgrandfather might be buried at the cemetery there. If you know where I might find any information,I'd certainly appreciate it. Debbie
