DORTHY L LINVILLE DIES AT MAYSVILLE EXTENDED CARE CENTER
Mrs Dorthy L. Linville, 85, died at 7:30 p.m. at the Maysville Extended Care Facility. She was a housewife and the widow of Sherwood LINVILLE.
Mrs. Linville was boprn in ROBERTSON COUNTY on Dec. 4, 1893, to the late Hiram Wesley and Louella COLLINS WHALEY. She was a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Maymie LINVILLE of Mt. Olivet, Mrs. Bethel CANTRELL of Alexndria, Kentucky, whom Mrs. Linville raised and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded indeath by three brothers, Emmitt WHALEY, Claude WHALEY and Sam WHALEY and three sisters, Grace CLEAVER, Stella ROBERTSON and Rose BURKE.
Services were held at the ROBERTSON COUNTY Funeral Home Friday, Jan 13, at 2 p.m.. Burial was in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Linville requested that the following statement be in her obituarty: "Left the est for the unknown slumber land of the west."
