Looking for information on David Emmett b 1802 m. Nancy Atwell b 1819 (North Carolina?)The marriage of David Emmett & Nancy Atwell took place- 1/20/1838 in Randolph county Georgia. I believe this couple migrated to Barbour Alabama then later Santa Rosa County Florida. David Emmett died in 1860 just weeks before the census and is listed in the mortality index.(Santa Rosa, FL) I believe their children are:
Robert Andrew Emmett b13 Dec 1838
James A. Emmett b04 Jan 1844
A.J. Emmett b1847 in Alabama
William Henry Emmett bJun 1852 in Alabama
I have searched for information on this family for years and have dead ended. They should be somewhere in this county in 1850 but I can't find a record of them. Any help would be appreciated.
