Thursa Carter m. in Bibb Co., Al.

Thursa Carter married Richard James John Henry Fonville Sept. 15, 1843 in Bibb Co. All I know is that her father was William Carter. Can anyone help me find out her mother's name or where her family came from? It is said we have Cherokee blood through her. How do I get a copy of this marriage certificate? Can someone here help with that? PLEASE let me know.
