William Hamilton COSTON died in Union Springs (Bullock Co., AL) on 14 Jan 1958. His death certificate names his parents as "John COSTON" and "Ella BROWDER." The only John COSTON I know of an age to possibly be his father was John Thomas COSTON (1870-1914, son of William Wiley COSTON & Mary Ann STUART) who married Alma TEAL in Pike Co. on 24 Dec 1905. Was John Thomas COSTON married first, as a teenager, to Ella BROWDER (presumbly a daughter of Hardy BROWDER, Jr. & Sarah Ann THORNTON, who married 15 Nov 1855 in Pike Co.) before he married Alma TEAL?

William Hamilton COSTON seems to have married around 1913 to Sammie Ardell HUDSON (da. of John & Joanna HUDSON, who lived next door to John & Alma TEAL COSTON in 1910 Linwood, Pike Co., AL!). William Hamilton & Sammie COSTON (with children William Jr., James Raiford?, Bessie Lee, Vonceil, and Bernice?) appear in the Pike Co. censuses of 1920 and 1930, but I cannot find William Hamilton COSTON in 1900 or 1910.

I would like to place William Hamilton COSTON in the larger COSTON family; can you help?
