My great grandfather was Elias Dubose born in South Carolina around 1843. Moved to Bullock Co. Alabama and married Amanda Lampley. I was told she was born in Louisville Alabama. They has about 9 kids. Elias also had a second family with Lizzie Starke. Together they had four children. Some of the Dubose names are Julia, Alma, Sam, Lucy, Gideon, Sherman and Jobe. There are more also. I am from Cincinnati and the family from here went down to Montgomery to a family reunion with the Dubose, Johnson, Crawford.
