Sarah/Sallie Taylor died in the 1870s, and she has an estate record in the Butler Co. Courthouse that has much good TAYLOR information. I did not copy it, but I will on my next visit.
My g-gf Ivey Morris bought his land in Greenville from Samuel and HF Oliver. A deed of Ivey and his wife Caroline mentions he was next door to Sarah Taylor. M.C. Lane was a witness on several Morris deeds Was Mr. Lane a witness as a person/friend/relative???, or just as as a lawyer or judge? I don't know.

My TAYLOR and OLIVER and LANE research relates to my MORRIS research. My g-gf Ivey Morris bought his land from the Olivers (Samuel and HP or HF OLIVER), and Ivy's son Jeptha Morris and Ivy's wife Caroline REID Morris bought some land from Sarah Taylor. I was hoping I'd find a clue about Ivey Morris by researching these families.
Also my ggg-gf Green Berry Lee from Putnam Co. Ga. married my ggg-gm Martha Jane Taylor in Montgomery, Ala. where some of the same Taylors lived and married, so the Taylors are very interesting to me!
These are some of my notes. I have a few others.
