I am trying to find a childress family who is from alabama, not sure of county. His name is Charles H. Childress Sr not sure of the spelling on the last name. He married a Mary Folkerson, not sure if that is correct either. They had a son Charles H. Childress Jr I believe he was born in either 1908 or 1909. I know charles Jr married Nora Helen Cronin on July 10, 1943 in Bakerfield California. They had four children and their names are Charles Childress, Barbara Yvonne, Thomas and Shelia. Iknow barb was born on july 7, 1944. I dont knowwhen the other children were born, but i do know that tey lived in taft california whe barb was born. I have been looking for these childress for a long time and it has been a trying time not knowing to much about this family. Charles is my husband grandfather and the son of barb.
