I believe that this family may be my connection to my GGrandmother Nancy Carpenter, but can find no proof. My Nancy CARPENTER (b: ~1860 in AL. married her sisters husband (George Redden WARD) after the sister died and Nancy raised her sister's child Eva WARD. Nancy and Redden WARD had other children including my GGrandmother Mary Gertrude WARD. THey are on the Pike Co. ARK census 1880.
