My ggrandmother's death certificate lists her mother's maiden name as Sarah Adeline Bullard and her father's name as W.J. Pruitt. They may have married in Georgia in the 1850s, before moving into Coosa county and later into Shelby county, Alabama. Sarah Pruitt, a widow on the 1880 census of Harpersville, claims she was born in Georgia and is 50 yoa in 1880. Maybe someone doing Bullard/Pruitt family research has found her back there in Georgia. I think maybe she was a daughter of Sion Record Bullard, who moved to Coosa county from Georgia in the 1850s, but I cannot verify this. Thanks, Bill D
