My Collins ancestor is Wilson Collins (b. 1787 NC d. 1875 Barbour Co. AL). I have found since I left that query that he is probably the only Collins that went to AL.
My Lee ancestor is David Crockett Lee (B. ca 1811 SC d. between 1865-70 McGhee's Switch (now Hope Hull, AL) I have not been able to find anything on him before his marriage in 1842 in Barbour Co. Al to Kisiah Sanders daughter of Francis and Barbary Oswalt. I don't know if they were ever in Dale Co. My query was for Kings in Dale Co. Since they are so close I have noticed that many moved around from Dale, Barbour and Pike Counties. Do any of these names sound familar to you?
